Norma Lynn Brown is a native of Hartsville, South Carolina, the daughter of the late O’Neal and Bertha Lee Lynn with a lifelong passion for entrepreneurship shaped by working in her family’s businesses. She earned a BS degree in Marketing Education and a master’s degree in business from Winthrop University and then she dedicated 35 years to teaching high SchoolEntrepreneurship, Marketing, and Business Education and was selected as teacher of the year 3 times as an outstanding educator.

 

Also, as an award-winning DECA Advisor and Coach for 35 years, she led students to hundreds of regional and state wins and more than 20 international gold medals, includingSouth Carolina’s first international first place DECA champions in Marketing.

 

In 2018, inspired by God, she founded Lynn Brown Inspires: Young CEOs, a 501nonprofit providing entrepreneurship and leadership summer Young CEO Camps and programs at no cost to families for youth and young adults. She is also the Founder and CEO of Be Inspired2, LLC, an educational consulting business that provides programs, workshops and speaking engagements focused on youth leadership and entrepreneurship.
